We hold regular support group meetings at a variety of venues throughout Derbyshire, although the number of meetings that we are able to provide is limited by the availability of funding.
The meetings are friendly, warm and caring and provide support, advice and information.
Within the group there is a wide range of skill and expertise which is invaluable to carers and professionals alike.
Members come from all areas of the county, and from a variety of backgrounds.
From time to time speakers are invited, but most of all there is a willingness to listen, support and help those connected with Autism Spectrum Condition. Contact with other parents and carers is invaluable in combating the isolation that many parents and carers experience.
